Writing
Below is a compilation of my writing clips from a variety of newspapers and blogs. Work may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
In 2012, I founded Caring for Crohn's, a personal blog chronicling life as a caretaker for someone with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis). The blog was designed and written using WordPress.
I have wrote 138 posts which have received nearly 72,000 views. The posts range from interviews with other bloggers and activists to doctor's listings and guides to obtaining health insurance. Below are several of the most popular blog posts:

From May - December 2008, I worked as a reporter for a weekly newspaper owned by the North Jersey Media Group, covering the towns of Oakland and Franklin Lakes, NJ. During my tenure, I was afforded the opportunity to write an op-ed for the Bergen Record, a daily newspaper reaching over 500,000 readers in Bergen and Passaic Counties.
Along with several of my colleagues, I was awarded the 2008 Better Newspaper Award for Responsible Journalism - Enterprise for an article providing readers with self-guided walking tours of their towns. Below is a selection of the articles written during my tenure with the North Jersey Media Group:
